We all know how hard it can be to make important phone calls during the busy season.  So many things always hinder our progress.  Anyone like playing phone tag?  How about dropped cell calls?  Even bad reception can make a simple phone call a huge ordeal when trying to communicate specific information.

SMART has developed a very user friendly desktop tool for easy and accurate order entry.  Orders generally take about a minute to enter and you can do this anytime day or night.  You can even take the Widget Tool with you on a PDA or smart phone to get orders done while you’re doing the walk through.

Check the status of any order with the click of a button.  Orders are sorted by address and color-coded to tell you when its in the system and when we get it scheduled.  The color changes again when we complete the work and you know instantly when a new tenant can move in.  All of this without a single phone call.

Excessive water can lead to undesirable results. There are many consequences associated with leaving excessive water in the carpet but the most noticeable are Carpet Roll, Dark Borders, and Seam Splitting due to the carpet backing delaminating. To avoid stretching, the carpet needs to be completely dry before walking on it. That can take as little as 12 hours or as long as 3 days, depending on how much of the water was recovered. In the Rental Industry, corners are cut to produce a low price-point and water recovery is compromised. This can directly lead to the dark borders where the dirty water dries and can discolor the carpet.

Q: Does SMART solve problems?

High pressure causes the backing of the carpet to become wet, weakening it and causing shrinkage and stretching resulting in carpet roll and seam splitting. Slow drying time allows spilled material in the backing and pad to wick there way back up to the surface, causing a reappearance of the spot. And slow drying time causes accelerated re-soiling in high traffic areas when carpet is walked on. Excessive water reaching the pad can also reactivate pet urine smells.

Soil Transfer Technology Explained

The Soil-Transfer Technology uses two principle mechanisms to remove foreign material from carpet fiber. First, a physical property of fiber called surface tension is reduced to near zero. In this state, anything adhering to the fiber is now freed and available for removal. Second, ions in the solution attach to the molecules of the foreign material. Then a nylon static pad is past over the carpet, creating a powerful electrostatic field that lifts the liquid, soil, residues, and other foreign matter out of the carpet and into the pad. Pads become saturated and are changed, and the process is repeated until you have clean carpet. This process is so powerful it can fully restore trashed-out carpets. Pads are reusable and are machine washed in a commercial washer. Drying in dryer is unnecessary.

Chemicals used in the soil removal process are biodegradable and leaves no toxic residue. Only 3 ounces are needed to clean 1,000 square feet of carpet and we use 90% less solution than traditional carpet cleaning methods. The process is safe for children, plants and pets. Over-spray will not harm wood, metal, or flooring. There is absolutely no static charge that remains as a result of the Electrostatic process.
